Skating Has Its Moments!

Day 8:  November 30, 2011
birthday shopping for Dave with the kids in tow (woohoo, boy was that fun); ice skating with Dave, Sarah, Stephen and the kiddos was great fun for most, but not much fun for one (guess who); one very crazy car ride complete with a stocking cap/scarf fight, very loud Christmas music with a Dr. Duffenschmirtz sing-a-long, crying because someone "burned their crotch", and one very fed up Mama who stopped the car in the middle of the off ramp to the interestate in an effort to get things calmed down!

Tulsa Zoo Day

Day 6: November 28, 2011

5 hour tour at the zoo, being the only attendants, makes you feel like the Grizwalds at Wally World, animals were entertaining dispite 36 degrees, and one very sad grizzly bear

An Afternoon on The Farm

Day 5:  November 27, 2011

a good morning at church, a trip to the farm, Dave and the kids moving hay bales with the tractor, learned that Uncle Steve needs a portapotty out there because Darci does not "do that" in the wilderness, there are some things we never speak of again, cow tooth necklaces, and sleepovers with Sarah are always entertaining

Getting Into the Christmas Spirit

Day 4: November 26, 2011

breakfast at the Savoy (yum), a little Christmas shopping with Sarah, sitting on Santa's lap at 34 is a new experience (I hope I get what I asked for), Mexican and margaritas for lunch, a nice long afternoon nap, roasted marshmallows and s'mores, teaching Darci to sew, and watching White Christmas (my absolute favorite Christmas movie of all time) .....it has been quite a wonderful day!

Going to the Center of the Universe

Day 3: November 25, 2011

a little more sleep, decorating Sarah's house for Christmas, underground tunnels, a trip to the center of the universe, cartwheels in the crystal ballroom, finding out that hot apple cider is not to supposed to be hot according to Mitchell, time in the hot tub, some knitting, and some Sherlock Holmes...boy, do I need to go to bed! by the way, I love you Dave Bodily!

one CRAZY play written by Darci involving a trip to South America and a Giant Turkey,

The Thanksgiving Feast

a Christmas Light display, a few tears and lots of laughs equals one pooped Pokahontas (my part in the play and Darci's spelling).......and by the way Sarah Kauble, don't forget to change your clothes tomorrow! Goodnight!
