The first pictures of the week were taken on Tuesday. Dave was off because of the Labor Day weekend. So instead of school, we decided to take the kids back to Lotte World and use our season passes. And boy am I GLAD we went. It was not busy in the least. We rode more rides on Tuesday than we did all of the other times we have gone, combined. The only drawback to this trip was........
Mitchell threw-up all over himself and me after riding the teacups with Dave. It is never a good idea to eat Krispy Kreme and go immediately onto a ride like that! That was the first thing that they did when we got there. After getting cleaned up, all was good and we had a GREAT day. We even got in a little school field trip while there. We got to visit the Folk Museum to learn about the different Korean Dynasties of the past. Darci and I even got to try on Hanboks, which are the traditional form of dress for special occasions.
Paekche Dynasty ~ BC 18 to AD 660

Gaya Dynasty ~ BC 37 to AD 562

Now for the Hanboks. I was dressed in a Queen's Ceremonial Hanbok. Darci is wearing one that is worn more often.

Dave had to push the car parked in front of us out of the way
people leave their cars in neutral so you can get out
Whew! That was a LONG day and Saturday was just as long for me and Dave. We finally got to go celebrate our anniversary. So after dropping the kids off at my friend Erin's house, we headed to Seoul. On the way, Dave made an illegal U-turn. The Korean police blew their siren at us, pulled up next to our window, looked at Dave, realized we were foreigners, shook his head, and kept going. I guess they didn't want to deal with us. When we arrived in Seoul, we enjoyed a wonderful lunch and then took a cab to the 63 building, one of the tallest buildings in the Korea. We went to the 60th floor to the art museum, which is the tallest art museum in the world. The views of the city were amazing! Next, we headed to the Trickeye Museum for some art fun! It was such a wonderful day to spend with Dave.

As you can see, our trip had an ART theme. I know it was A LOT to take in and that is about all I have to share this week except for the usual few ODD Korea pics. Sometimes, all I can do is just shake my head and think WHY???
I don't even want to know what they do at a ManClinic
I guess they would do anything to sell their pies!
