From Gulliver's Travels to Green Pizza

Greetings from Korea!  Boy, have I got a lot to share with you.  It has been one very busy week for us.  So let us just jump right into it.......

On Tuesday, the kids and I attended a theatrical performance of Gulliver's Travels on post.  The performance was arranged by the Child, Youth, and School Services group on Camp Casey.  With their help, the American Drama Group Europe and the TNT Theater Britain were able to bring the play to the students of Area 1.  I am grateful to CYSS for including the homeschooling families.

played all of the parts!

Now to the busy part!  From Thursday to Sunday, we managed school, a Girl Scout meeting, trunk or treat, a costume contest, a sock hop, a dinner guest, scaring our friends in our haunted apartment, another Girl Scout function, and trick or treating at the complex!  WHEW!  It wears me out just thinking about it and it isn't even Halloween, yet.

So here is Thursday......

On Saturday, we finally got to make use of the spiderwebs in the apartment.  Dave and the kids added to it and the kids' friends came over to get "SPOOKED".  One of Dave's coworkers also came to dinner and wanted to join in. .....

And finally, we made it to Sunday.  You would think that Sunday would be the day for us to rest, but that was not to be.  After a morning of errands and DEWEBBING our apartment, Darci and I went to the first meeting between our Girl Scouts and the local Korean Girl Scout troop.  We had a nice reception with them to celebrate Juliet Gordon Low's birthday, which happens to be Halloween.

Wow!  That was a lot wasn't it?  I kind of hope that the coming week isn't quite so busy.  I have two more things to share and then I will let you go.  I took a couple of more fall pics this week because the trees are just BEAUTIFUL!  I also had to take a picture of the pizza we had for supper one night.  Why, you say? Take a look and you'll see why.

So that completes our 34th week in Korea.  I hope you all join us again next week.  Until then..... annyeonghi geyseyo!
