A "Fishy" Fish, A Delicious Dino, and Stuff for Sale

Well guys, this is the post for week 50 and it will be my last post for a while because the kids and I are headed home for a visit.  We have been here just at a year and although we have had some really GREAT adventures, made memories for a lifetime, and met some WONDERFUL people, I am READY to be back in the states for a little while.  So with that, I will leave you with these last few pics of some things we tried and some odd things we saw.

So this time around, we tried some Korean things we had not experienced before.  Here they are.

ice cream?!?!?!?

ok... I have to say I'm a little worried

the outside really tasted like corn....NOT my favorite

meat on a stick... Darci loved it

bungeoppang
very popular winter street food

filled with sweet red bean paste
NOT my favorite either ☺

I don't know what took us so long to try it..
IT was DELICIOUS!

here we go!

sure wish Dave could have joined us

side dishes

the fresh meat case

fill your plate with as much meat as you want

as many times as you want!!!

then cook and eat !!!!!  YUMMY!

she has gotten quite good at chopsticks

Mitchell prefers the "Harry Potter" method

The night we went out to eat, I snapped a few pics of some things we saw along the way.

making balloon animals and such

no English dictionary was consulted in the naming of this candy

this just makes me giggle
at only 5000 won, it's a steal

giant bags of popcorn for sale on the street

steamed buns (these street vendors are very popular)

another food cart....this was chicken on a stick I believe

the sock lady sets up almost everyday ...
socks are SUPER SUPER cheap

Darci had to have these

and these ☺

So there you have it, thank you for always reading and keeping up with us this long year.  I will be back to posting when we return to Korea.  Until then,

ANNYEONGHI GEYSEYO!
