Party, Party, Party

Hello everyone!  I hope you all enjoyed a wonderful Christmas.  I know you have probably been wondering what is taking me so long in posting.  We have been pretty busy, as you will see, and I just did not have the energy to post.  Thank you for being so patient with me.  So without further ado, here is week 42.

Not only was I feeling under the weather, but we also had a Girl Scout Christmas party and not one, but TWO sleepovers to host.  For the Girl Scout party on Thursday, each girl had to pick a recipe and make something to bring for refreshments to help them earn their cooking badge.  Darci went through a big pile of my recipes and decided for her first ON HER OWN cooking experience she wanted to make angel food cupcakes (not the easiest of choices).  She did an AMAZING job!

The party was really fun for the girls.  They all invited some of their friends to come and experience Girl Scouts.  Darci was thrilled because two of her BFFs, Abby and Ava, got to come.  After eating a ton of food, that the girls had prepared, they made snow globes.

On Friday AND Saturday, we hosted a Christmas party/sleepover for the kids.  Darci had some of her friends over on Friday night and then Mitchell had his friends on Saturday.  What a way to get in the mood for Christmas.  It was so much fun, but EXTREMELY exhausting.  I made a couple of smileboxes with all of the pics and video from the parties, so I have just included them here for you to see.

I will get to work on the Christmas week post soon and I will see you all in the New Year (which is just 2 days away ☺).  I hope you all have a very Happy New Year.  Until next time.....
